The Springfield-Branson National Airport is seeking a skilled and motivated Airport Network Technician to support the technology systems that keep our airport running smoothly and securely. This position plays a critical role in ensuring reliable network, system, and computer operations for airport staff and customers.

What you'll do:
- Work collaboratively with airport department leaders and your Manager to implement, maintain, and troubleshoot airport technology systems.
- Support airport security technology and ensure secure, reliable operations.
- Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.
- Make informed recommendations on hardware and software solutions for airport employees and stakeholders.
- Provide routine network, systems, and computer support to staff and customers.
- Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical users.
What you'll need:
- Healthy understanding of basic IT principles and procedures.
- A familiarity with communications hardware including LAN/WAN routers, switches, and firewalls, Wireless LAN (WLAN), Microsoft/Linux Servers, Microsoft Windows Desktop, Microsoft Office productivity, physical security, VoIP/Telephony, and other network peripherals is desirable.
- Ability to explain complex computer software terminology to the the every day customer.

Qualifications and Requirements
Experience, Education, and Training
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, Industrial Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 12 hours of course work in a computer discipline;
AND
- Two years experience in a computer field;
- Directly related work experience in Network Administration or multi-user systems may be substituted for the education requirements on a year-for-year basis.
Licensing/Certification
- Certifications including CompTIA A+/Network+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, Windows Server, Genetec, Axis Communications, and/or Linux preferred.
